Colourway: Single Batch Naturals No. 11
One of a kind yarns bundle, solar or kettle dyed primarily with dye plants from my garden, with the odd addition of sourced natural dyestuffs that don't readily grow in the UK.
This batch was dyed with Madder root.
1 x 50g hank of Fluff Lace: Suri Silk Lace – 74% Baby Suri Alpaca and 26% Mulberry Silk. Soft and delicate with a gorgeous halo. Perfect for floating along with another yarn or creating a wispy lacework feature.
Each 50g hank is about 328 yards / 300 meters.
I recommend hand washing in cool water and drying flat.
All wool is hand dyed in single or small batches then washed and dried ready to be knit up into your own unique creation. Different fibres naturally take colours differently, resulting in a beautiful array of complimentary tones and texture.
While I have tried to capture the colours as best I can, please be aware colours may vary from those shown here. All natural dyes have varying light and wash fastness and you may want to consider this when planning your project.
