Make yourself cosy with this colourful hat and cowl set. Each pattern can be purchased on their own, or both can be had as a bundle deal. Knit with simple stranded colourwork in DK, it’s a great weekend project and perfect for using up left over yarns and mini skeins. Both patterns are worked in the round, with a combination of written and charted instructions. The completed cowl is fully reversible, with the working side of your knit hidden for a clean finish. The matching hat comes in three sizes and sports a generous folded brim.
Materials:
5mm / 8 US 16” Circular Needles (or size needed to obtain gauge of 6.5 stitches per inch).
Yarn – Both samples shown in My Mama Knits Patsy DK
MC: 150g - Men in Black / Asphalt
CC: 120g – Celebration Mix (6 x 20g Mini Set) / Silver Lining, Vixen & Blah, Blah, Blah
2nd Needle for grafting the cowl together and Double Pointed Needles for decreasing the crown of the hat.
