2023 Eye of the Cat - 24 Colour Numbered Mystery Mini Skein Countdown Calendar Set on Choufunga Sock
Please read the description and choose your options carefully. Due to their bespoke nature, all Advent purchases are final.
Shipping will include tracking and you will receive a notification once your calendar is on its way. Advents are due to be shipped in late September, so if you are ordering additional items you would like earlier, please order them separately.
This year’s Eye of the Cat Advent includes twenty four new colourways inspired by the eyes of domestic cats. The set will be wrapped in an order that is suitable for creating a beautiful piece of work using each day as it comes, or feel free to grab random days from the set for your own unique order.
Not just for the advent of Christmas – the colourways and wrapping are not holiday themed, making this set a perfect countdown calendar that can be used as a special yarny treat to enhance any occasion.
All Advent options will include 24 individually wrapped and numbered mini skeins all on Choufunga Sock, a 75/25 superwash merino and nylon sock weight base. Sets are available in different mini skein size options to suit.
Option 1 – Yarn Only - 24 x 5g (23 yards / 21 meters ea.)
Option 2 - Yarn Only - 24 x 10g (46 yards / 42 meters ea.)
Option 3 – Yarn Only - 24 x 20g (93 yards / 85 meters ea.)
Full special skein: A full 100g skein in a mystery complimentary colourway can also be added separately to your Advent. This years full skein colourway is available on Choufunga Sock (100g skein of Choufunga Sock: 465 yards / 425 meters).

All wool is hand dyed in single or small batches then washed and dried ready to be knit up into your own unique creation.
Suitable for machine washing but hand washing is preferable. Dry flat.
Due to the nature of hand dyeing, colour saturation and placement may vary between different skeins of the same colourway. If you are using more than one to skein to complete your project I recommend alternating between the skeins for the best overall colour matching.
Ever had a wash load turn pink because of one tiny red sock? Although all wool has been washed thoroughly after dyeing, it is advisable to wash your creations separately the first time, in case any residual dye remains. The vibrancy of your wool will not be affected in the rare event that there is any run off. I don't expect the dyes to run, but I make mention out of caution as I would hate for my wool to be the 'red sock'!
