Colourway: Mama's Magic Milk Machines

Mama’s Magic Milk Machines is my contribution to the Tits Out Collective and £3 for every skein made has been donated to my nominated charity MND Scotland. Over 200 other dyers and makers participated in the collective initiated by Countess Ablaze in July 2018 to raise funds for good causes everywhere.

If you want to learn more about MND Scotland check out their site here:

All wool is hand dyed in single or small batches then washed and dried ready to be knit up into your own unique creation.

1 x 100g hank of Monty Big Softie: 100% Merino Superwash DK weight wool for hand or machine knitting. Soft and squishy with a slight halo.

Each 100g hank is about 246 yards / 225 meters.

Gauge: 22 x 30 = 4 inches using 4mm / US 6 needles

Suitable for machine washing but hand washing is preferable. Dry flat.

While I have tried to capture the colours as best I can, please be aware colours may vary from those shown here.

Due to the nature of hand dyeing, colour saturation and placement may vary between different skeins of the same colourway. If you are using more than one to skein to complete your project I recommend alternating between the skeins for the best overall colour matching.

Want the skein wound up and ready to knit? Add on my caking service to your order.

Ever had a wash load turn pink because of one tiny red sock? Although all wool has been washed thorougly after dyeing, it is advisable to wash your creations seperatly the first time, in case any residual dye remains. The vibrance of your wool will not be affected in the rare event that there is any run off. I don't expect the dyes to run, but I make mention out of caution as I would hate for my wool to be the 'red sock'!
